The honest truth about this
Situated just next to the town wall the warm hospitality and outstanding breakfast made for an unforgettable stay. Fresh local produce and comfortable amenities rounded out an incredible experience worth every penny.
Limited privacy in bathroom facilities might be off-putting for some and climbing stairs without an elevator can be exhausting especially after a long day of exploring.

The modern design of Mittermeiers Alter Ego really impressed me. The stylish room had beautiful furnishings and comfortable bedding. Location was superb, just a short walk to the historic town center. The breakfast was outstanding, featuring a wide variety of fresh local produce and superbly prepared dishes. I especially loved the tea selection. The staff were attentive and made me feel welcomed. However, I found the bathroom privacy lacking due to the glass door, which was a bit awkward. Additionally, the lighting in the room was insufficient for reading at night, but staff promptly provided a reading lamp. Overall, it was a great stay with excellent amenities and a chill vibe, despite a couple of minor concerns.

The shared kitchen concept was a fantastic feature, allowing me to prepare snacks while enjoying free coffee, tea, and fruit.
The lack of an elevator made transporting my luggage up the stairs a bit of a hassle after a long journey.

Spacious showers, cozy stays
The beautifully designed modern rooms are a pleasure to return to after exploring the charming streets of Rothenburg. I particularly loved the spacious shower and the communal kitchen, perfect for late-night snacks with other travelers.
However, while the minimalist decor is stylish, I found the lighting in the room insufficient for evening reading. An extra lamp was provided upon request, but it would be better if all rooms were adequately lit from the start.

Stylishly designed rooms with luxurious modern amenities.
I faced multiple issues during my stay that left me disappointed. The digital check-in didn't work, forcing me to go through the conventional process, which felt outdated. Additionally, the lack of an elevator meant I had to climb two flights of stairs with my luggage, which was quite physically draining after a long journey.

I loved the fabulous location just outside the city walls, making it a short walk into the historic center. The communal kitchen was a great feature, allowing us to prepare our own snacks while enjoying free coffee, tea, and fruit. I also appreciated the cozy seating area outside, providing a perfect spot to relax.
The lack of elevators can be a challenge, especially when carrying luggage up multiple flights of stairs.
